My confession- To be or not to be real

I have wrote my personal story/ confession (which I am going to make a beautiful book); which has a very strong link to The Seven Emotions and Six desires in Buddhism, and my installation.

Annegrete suggested me to re-edit a little bit of the introduction and conclusion. Also, I can use images or photos to illustrate my own story…” You were living in the dream and realised it wasn’t happiness.”

plaster + clay????

I have to fix the mannequin on the mirror, but its empty inside; I need to make a base by plaster and clay.

Because only plaster and clay will be very heavy, I need to put some bubble wrap and plastic bags inside.

Final crit with Rathna

Today, I brought some high gloss white enamel painted animals that i have done, the personal journey story book layout and the photography layouts for the final crit.

Rathna and the others say the layouts are brilliant and have so much potential to develop for some printing outcome, for example Calendar.

The photography may only have the names of the emotions and desire; I may not need to explain what is fear. The toys with photography works interesting, and have the space for the audience to see what happening in the photography. She suggested me to do the installation with very strong personal narratives and the photography.

Tutorial group with Annegrete

Today, I show the display model dummy, the script of the Sex and the City and the script that I made up on the wall of display room; with the layout of the printing book that I have tried.

-The philosophy quote by Lao zi is beautiful; I have to dig the deepth of the idea and concept and link it to my personal opinion/ personal journey; linking Lao Zi’s statement, the fantasy cycle and my personal story together.

– I shouldn’t change my ideas every time I got different feedbacks and comments> the book is not the best way to show the narrative

– My installation is fine, I just need more connection; it maybe a conceptual fine art piece, not suit for commercial window display (because it is an installation; take people see it in the gallery in a more open way)
